WWE 2K22 is another installment of the WWE 2K sports game series. The title was produced by Visual Concepts studio known mainly from NBA 2K series, and the release was handled by 2K Sports company responsible for wrestling 2K since 2013. During the game we meet numerous stars of the sport (such as The Rock, Sasha Banks or Brock Lesnar), whose silhouettes have been accurately recreated. In the game we can find modes that appeared in previous installments, but also some completely new ones
Mechanics
The main attraction is of course taking part in fights in the ring, using spectacular punches, grabs, throws and special attacks, characteristic for wrestling. In these battles we can take control over famous fighters.
In addition, we have the opportunity to get acquainted with the world of WWE from the organizational side - to play the role of a team manager or sports events. Developing the best program, with the most exciting and spectacular fights is our main goal in this MyGM mode, and selecting players, arranging matches in the MyFACTION module.
Game modes
WWE 2K22 offers much more than the opportunity to fight in the ring. In Showcase, we learn a bit of history, focused on key moments in the career of Rey Mysterio - the face of this installment.
There are also MyRISE story-driven career modes, one for each male and female player, in which we take our created character from the bottom rungs to the top of the wrestling career ladder.
We can also take on the role of a WWE manager in the myGM module - organize shows and compete to develop the most recognizable brand, and for the first time in the history of the series, in the MyFACTION mode, we will create our own team competing with the nWo and lead it to the top by selecting players, arranging fights, etc.
